York Regional Police have charged a school photographer for sexually assaulting two female teenagers at a Newmarket school.
In September, Scott Kresan Tilbe, a 30-year-old, sexually assaulted two teenage students while snapping their school photos at a Newmarket school.
YRP has said that they began investigating a school photographer after a 15-year-old female victim came forward and reported a sexual assault.
A second victim reported a sexual assault by the same suspect during their investigation, police said.
The first incident is believed to happen on Sept. 16, 2022, at a Newmarket school where the student was getting her school picture taken, YRP said.
On Nov. 2, police arrested and charged Scott Kresan Tilbe with two counts of sexual assault and sexual interference – person under 16 and sexual exploitation.
