Durham Regional Police has charged an Oshawa gymnastics coach in relation to a historic sexual assault.
The DRPS Special Victims Unit began investigating in October 2022 after a victim came forward.
Sarah Nicholson,34, is charged with five counts of sexual assault and inappropriate sexual exploitation. She was released on an undertaking.
The suspect was employed at the gymnastics club from 2005 to 2012 but no longer works there. Investigators want to ensure that there are no other victims.
