Michael O’Grady an elementary school teacher in Burlington, Ontario, has been charged in connection with an alleged sex crime involving a student that occurred almost 40 years ago, according to Halton Regional Police.
They allege that a former student at John T. Tuck Elementary School reported the teacher sexually assaulted her in 1982 when he was an instructor at the school.
Michael O’Grady, 72, was arrested and charged with indecent assault on a female, but he was let go under restrictions.
According to the police, O’Grady taught in a number of schools across Ontario with the Halton District School Board (HDSB).
