Survivors make a public list of accused Catholic priests for sexual assault.

CBC reported that on December 04, 2019, Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests South Western (SNAP SW) Ontario, a network of survivors of institutional sexual abuse and their supporters, released the names of 36 Roman Catholic priests in London who were charged, indicted or connected to unfortunate casualties that made claims and effectively sued or settled with the church for sums of more than $50,000. List only includes the name of the priests who sexually abused the male or female victims under the age of 18.

The SNAP list covers the offences that happened in more than 50 years starting in 1952. Only nine priests named on the list are alive.

The published list categories the accused priests as, those who were charged but not convicted, those who are criminally convicted and those who have settled claims.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of London serves the nine counties in the southwestern section of Ontario, namely, Middlesex, Elgin, Norfolk, Oxford, Perth, Huron, Lambton, Kent and Essex Counties.
