CBC reported that Jeffrey Scott, Neurologist of Grand River Hospital, has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault. The Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested Sloka on Tuesday morning and charged him with 34 individual cases of sexual assault.
All the alleged incidents are believed to happen between January 2010 to February 2017. According to police, the victims were patients of 50 years old physician. All the victims are women aged 17 to 51.
In April, as a result of disciplinary hearing with the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, Sloka’s license was revoked. He was also ordered to pay $64,000 for the victim’s therapy fund.
Police are urging any other Grand River Hospital, sexual assault victims, to come forward to assist in the investigation
