CBC reported that Jeffery Peters, a teacher at Perth’s St. John Catholic High School, is charged with 10 cases of sexual assault and sexual exploitation. All of the victims are supposed to be minor.

The 43-year-old teacher was suspended by the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario as soon as the allegations of sexual assault against him came in the light.

In October 2019, the first charges against Peters were placed for the incidents that allegedly happened between 2013 and 2015.

The additional charges were placed in November 2019 when the third victim came forward.
