Global News reported that Clive Walters, A former Brampton bishop, has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference. Peel police arrested Clive Walters on Friday.
According to police, someone went to a church near Kennedy Road and Clarence Street, Brampton, at an unknown time. They were assaulted while they were at the church.
Investigators believe there may be other victims and encourage anyone with information to contact the police.
Clive Walters is scheduled to appear in court on October 3.
