Ottawa Citizen reported that Barry McGrory a former Catholic priest is found guilty of two sexual assault charges dating to alleged offences against three teen aged male victims between 1960 and 1970.

McGrory was charged with two counts of indecent assault and gross indecency after two men in their 60s came forward in 2016 claiming that McGrory sexually assaulted them when they young. Victims told the police that McGrory would invite them to his rectory to do chores and used alcohol and medication to groom them before the alleged assaults.

McGrory was sentenced to jail after he skipped his sentencing in Ottawa court in November.
