Ottawa police Deputy Chief- Uday Jaswal suspended

CBC News reported that Ottawa police Deputy Chief Uday Jaswal has been suspended from duty pending outcomes of a disciplinary hearing against him. On 13 March the Ontario Civilian Police Commission sent a notice to Ottawa Police Service that it had issued a Notice of Hearing alleging three counts of misconduct against Deputy Chief under the Police Services Act. David Case and his former star sprinter charged

CBC News reported that former Sudbury track coach and his former sprinter have been found guilty of sexually assaulting a local woman.
The alleged incident supposed to happen at David Case house in Sudbury on the evening of 22 Jue, 2011. The complainant was 19 years old at that time.

Both Loyer, 30 and Case, 57, were not taken in custody today. Case is scheduled to face a verdict on March 13 in Sudbury court.

Chatham violin teacher sentenced to eight months

According to CBC News Claude Trachy a violin teacher convicted of dozens of sex assault-related charges has been sentenced to eight months jail time on Monday.
The 73-year-old retired violin teacher from Chatham was charged in 2015 after former female students of Trachy testified that Trachy touched their breasts and had them remove their blouses and bras during lessons between the 1970s and 1990s.

Trachy will serve a 2 years probation period after his jail term.
